NicheWise Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
Welcome to NicheWise. NicheWise is a product of The 360 Company (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa, at 83 Mowbray Road, Greenside, Johannesburg, South Africa. These terms are the agreement between you and The 360 Company (Pty) Ltd, trading as NicheWise ("NicheWise", "we", "us"). They cover the NicheWise web app, our website and NicheWise Companion, our Chrome extension (together, "NicheWise").
By using NicheWise, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, and our Refund Policy explains refunds.
1. What NicheWise is
NicheWise is a research tool for people who publish books on Amazon. It helps you look at niches, books, keywords and categories, save your research and track books over time.
NicheWise is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon. Amazon, Kindle and KDP are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure. You are responsible for what happens in your NicheWise account.
- You must be at least 16 to use NicheWise, and at least 18 (or the age of adulthood where you live) to buy a paid plan.
- One account is for one person. Please do not share your account or sign-in with others.
- If you use NicheWise for a business, you agree to these terms for that business too.
- Tell us right away at support@nichewise.io if you think someone else is using your account.
3. Plans and billing
Free
The Free plan costs nothing. It comes with a one-time set of credits and smaller limits. Free credits do not renew.
Pro
Pro costs $29 per month or $290 per year (US dollars) at our launch price. The standard price will be $39 per month or $390 per year. Tax is added at checkout where it applies.
- Launch price. If you subscribe at the launch price, you keep that price for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel and subscribe again later, the price at that time applies.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you pay, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms.
- Your plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel.
- Paddle charges the payment method you gave at checkout.
- If a payment fails, we may give you a short grace period. During it, you keep your current credits, but no new monthly credits are added. If payment still fails, your account moves to Free.
- If a partner link gave you a discount, the discount is applied at checkout. Discount codes cannot be combined.
Price changes
We may change prices. We will tell you before any price increase, and the new price starts from your next billing period. You can cancel before then. If you joined at the launch price, you keep it while your subscription stays active.
4. Credits
Some features use credits, such as Owl reports, loading a book's history and custom searches. The app shows the cost before you use a credit.
- Free credits are given once, when you first create your account. They do not renew. They do not expire while your account is open.
- Pro credits are added at the start of each billing period. On a yearly plan, they are added each month on the day your plan started.
- Unused monthly credits do not carry over. Each new period replaces the last period's monthly credits.
- If you move from Pro to Free, your remaining monthly credits are removed. Your one-time Free credits stay.
- Credits have no cash value. You cannot sell, transfer or swap them for money.
- If a feature fails because of a problem on our side, we return the credit.
5. Plan limits and fair use
Each plan has limits, such as how many books you can save or track. You can see your limits in the app. We may change limits over time, and we will tell you before we lower limits on a plan you already pay for.
To keep NicheWise fast and fair for everyone, we also have quiet daily safety limits that normal use does not reach. If an account uses NicheWise in a way that looks automated or abusive, we may slow it down or pause it.
6. Cancelling
You can cancel Pro at any time from Plan & billing on your Account page, or by emailing support@nichewise.io. You can also cancel through Paddle at paddle.net. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, your account moves to Free. Your saved research stays, within Free plan limits.
7. Refunds
If Pro isn't right for you, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of a payment, no questions asked. Email support@nichewise.io or go to paddle.net. After a refund, Pro ends and your account moves to Free. Our Refund Policy has the details.
Nothing in these terms takes away any right to cancel or get a refund that your local law gives you.
8. How you may use NicheWise
Please use NicheWise for your own research. You agree not to:
- copy or download NicheWise data in bulk, or use bots or scripts to do so
- resell, publish or share NicheWise data or reports as your own product or database
- share your account, or let others use your paid plan
- try to get around credits, limits or payments
- break, overload, reverse-engineer or test the security of NicheWise without our written permission
- take apart, decompile or analyse the NicheWise app or Chrome extension, including with AI tools, to copy how they work
- use NicheWise numbers to work out, recreate or train a copy of our estimates, formulas or data, or to build a competing product
- use NicheWise to break the law or Amazon's rules, or to harm others
- send support messages that are abusive or spam
You may use what you learn in NicheWise, and short parts of reports, in your own publishing work and to share with your own team or clients.
If you break these rules, we may limit, pause or close your account (see section 12).
9. The data and reports
NicheWise numbers, such as sales, royalties and trends, are estimates for research purposes and can differ from real results. They are not a promise of sales, rankings or income, and they are not financial advice. Your results depend on things we don't control, such as your books, pricing, ads, competition and Amazon's own rules.
Owl gives automated analysis of your research data. It can make mistakes, so please check what matters to you. Please use your own judgement before you make publishing or money decisions.
Our numbers come from publicly available Amazon listing information, data from third-party providers and our own calculations. We do not control those sources and cannot promise they are complete, current or correct.
10. Your content
Your saved research, notes and support messages stay yours. You give us permission to store, copy and process them only so we can run NicheWise for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can export your workspace from Account, then Data & privacy.
11. Our content and intellectual property
NicheWise, its software, design, logo, reports format and the data we create belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use NicheWise under these terms while your account is open. This does not give you any ownership.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without paying you.
12. Ending or pausing an account
- You can stop using NicheWise at any time. To close your account and delete your data, email support@nichewise.io.
- We may pause or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you do not pay, or if the law requires it. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem or export your data.
- If we close your account for no fault of yours, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
- If we ever stop offering NicheWise, we will give you reasonable notice.
13. No promises (warranties)
We work hard to keep NicheWise useful and available. But we provide it "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we do not promise that NicheWise will always work, be error-free, or that its estimates will be accurate or lead to any result, such as sales.
14. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows:
- We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost sales, lost data or lost business opportunities.
- Our total responsibility for any claim about NicheWise is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you have not paid us.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights your local consumer law gives you.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as NicheWise changes. We will change the date at the top. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using NicheWise after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel.
16. Disputes
Nothing in these terms takes away the rights your local consumer law gives you.
Before going to court, please email us first. Most problems can be fixed quickly.
17. Other legal bits
- If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a rule right away, we can still enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our permission. We may transfer them if NicheWise is sold or merged.
- These terms and our Privacy Policy are the full agreement between you and us about NicheWise.
